I would now like to give a shout-out to my sci-fi geeks...
I have only managed to read a few assigned chapters from a class, but I have vowed to someday actually pick up a complete book written by Neal Stephenson. This interview on Slashdot is probably one of the best and most thoroughly written I have seen on the site. At the very least, scroll down and read his answer to question #4 for a good, geeky laugh.

This would be cool if they actually make progress. I have always been more of a cyber-space rather than an outer-space person, but the geek in me loves all kinds of space.

Oh, and I finally started watching the Nova Origins mini-series. Good stuff if you are an astrophysicist at heart.

We could be witness to the revolution. There are some very interesting things going on in the realm of copyright these days. For a good, low-level description, this article from Newsweek does some justice to the topic.

Yes, work has kept me very, very busy. Unfortunately, that usually means this site is one of the first things dropped to the wayside. Anyway, I felt that I could not pass up posting this article. Now, either this man is endowed very well, or I am now really afraid of getting old.
