There has been a lot of buzz recently over RFID tags. Much of this related to privacy concerns, and how much do we really want people to know about our habits. While I do agree that there are some scary possibilities, I also believe that technology like this has the potential to do some really cool things, like this.

Whether they do more harm or good, I think it is still too early to tell, but as with all things tech, where there is a will there is a way. Whether that will is for profit or just covering your tracks, apparently, it is now not that difficult to manipulate those evil, little tags.

Because we all know breast enlargement and liposuction are essential battlefield medical procedures: Soldier Perks!

And I do not know if I just got lucky on the ad draw, but I found the choice of banner ad to be rather fitting.

Lucky for me, my truck is still running like a champ. Although when I am in the market for a vehicle, it certainly will not be a new one. Some of you may even know about my anti-new feelings due to all that depreciation ugliness.

Anyway, enough of that tangent. The real reason I am here today is this informative little article. I admit I was fairly clueless on the proper techniques for effective haggling, but this article lays out all the information quite nicely. So, if you are in the market for a used vehicle, hopefully this will help a few of you out.

Not too much to report these days. I must say that RSS is an interesting technology. I have been playing around with Sage recently, and it is very handy for plowing through all those daily news sites I visit. Anyway, just so I will not leave you empty-handed, here is your useless link of the day:

Sticks!

Wow! This must be some kind of record with two posts so close together, but I just could not pass this one up. I mean, what good are war crime trials if you cannot make fun of them?? Anyway, without further delay I present...

ROCK, PAPER, SADDAM!

You should all know by now how much I love Firefox. Now that there is even more reason to use it, do not forget to check out some of the more interesting extensions when you do download it. There are some really handy ones sprinkled throughout the article, they are very easy to install, and here are some of my favorites:

ieview - for those stubborn non-standard pages
Web Developer Extension - very handy for my web developer friends
Copy Plain Text - cool little format stripping tool
sage - RSS and ATOM feed aggregator

Now get out there and play with your new toys!
