Speaking of robots in disguise, there is a new (suspected) Mini marketing stunt that was unleashed on the Web recently. It is painstakingly detailed, and one of the more elaborate marketing pranks I have seen if it does indeed turn out to be sponsored by the folks at Mini. The footage is very detailed and while it is fairly obviously a fake, it still makes the geek in me drool quite happily. The other thing that catches my eye about this is the fact that the color and head of this autonomous biped robot are very similar to a certain other familiar robot from my childhood. Could this be another unofficially announced Alternator?

Damn you, SonyEricsson! Because of you and my severe techno-lust, I will never be able to finally settle on a phone to replace my dying antique.

I have never been a Mazda fan. It is nothing personal really. I just have never had the desire to own one...until now. As of today, I have decided that I must own a Mazda RX-8.
